The General National Maritime Transport Company conducts its operations within a clear legal and regulatory framework, subjecting all its revenues and operations to the oversight of the relevant authorities. The revenues generated from maritime leasing activities are deposited into official, approved bank accounts within the Libyan state, and are subject to regular auditing. Regarding the reference to the registration of certain vessels under foreign flags, the company clarifies that this is a purely technical and regulatory procedure, common in the international maritime transport industry, and has been practiced for years by major shipping companies worldwide. The company has a long record of tankers registered outside Libya in compliance with operational and commercial requirements.

– It has maintained a professional relationship for a number of years with Oil Brokerage, a company that enjoys an outstanding reputation and high reliability in the maritime sector and has served GNMTC in every way possible within their capacity to the highest standard. We abhore the mentioned of owners agents and brokers in such a negative manner that affects GNMTC in such a negative way .
The company also strongly condemns the report’s mention of names and job titles of its employees in a context that lacks accuracy and professionalism, considering it a serious violation of publishing ethics and established media standards.
